Look, my time with text based social media apps is so oooooover. I have permanently deactivated my Twitter / X account. I will be permanently deactivating my Bluesky and Threads accounts after March.

The only social media I will keep are Instagram, TikTok and this, my Substack. I like these sites as the separation from creator and consumer seems wide enough to protect me.

To echo Sadie Hartmann’s recent newsletter I’m a writer and my job is to write, so that is what I am going to focus on.
